    USER RESEARCH

Survey and results : 11 responses

I conducted a user survey via Google Forms with the following questions and also I interviewed the users in-person. I've surveyed several travel websites to create questions, and I've been able to find useful information about what families faced when they were traveling on a long trip by car.

    EMPATHY MAP

Based on the survey and interviews
Unlike expectations, the parent wants to spend time with their kids in the car. They want to play the game with kids, and they don’t want to let their kids watch movies for a few hours.

    KEY FEATURES

I summarized the feature lists of applications. To solve the problem, I am using the autonomous sensor technology and GPS. I could think of several use cases when using these technologies.

    PROOF OF CONCEPT

    CONCLUSION

Using autonomous technology, apps can be useful when users travel long distances in a car. They can spend quality time with family or friends on the road. Parents do not always have to help children and children can interact with the environment or things they pass by. Through this experience, the app can provide knowledge to children and have fun in a boring time. Give a child a reward, the children and parents will become more engaged. The challenge is to design an interface that is easy for young children to use. Because considering work with different platforms from CarPlay screen, mobile and tablet device should makes smooth user flow. I’ll test with first version of design, and make iteration for next step.
